What are Wrinkle Relaxers

Dysport, and Xeomin are all FDA approved for the treatment of wrinkles. These medications work by paralyzing the muscles that cause wrinkles, which in turn, reduces their appearance.

1. What are wrinkle relaxers and what do you offer?

At Luxe Beauty we offer Dysport, and Xeomin brand wrinkle relaxers. Dysport, and Xeomin are injections that contain the neurotoxin botulinum toxin. Xeomin is made from a bacteria called Clostridium botulinum, while Dysport is made from a related bacteria called Clostridium butyricum.


2. What are the benefits of the wrinkle relaxers you offer?

Dysport, and Xeomin are forms of botulinum toxin, a neurotoxin produced by the bacterium Clostridium botulinum. Botulinum toxin is a neurotoxin that blocks acetylcholine release at the neuromuscular junction, leading to muscle paralysis. Botulinum toxin type A is the most common type of botulinum toxin used in cosmetic procedures.

Dysport, and Xeomin are approved by the FDA for the treatment of moderate to severe frown lines. Dysport is approved for the treatment of frown lines and crow's feet. Xeomin is approved for the treatment of frown lines.


3. How soon can I see results after my wrinkle relaxer treatment?

Dysport is generally considered to have the fastest results. Muscle paralysis can be observed within 24 hours after injection. Xeomin generally begins to work within 4-7 days after injection. You can expect to see full results in 14 days with all wrinkle relaxers.


4. How much does my wrinkle relaxer treatment cost?

Dysport, and Xeomin the most popular injectables on the market. However, they do have different price points. The cost of Dysport, and Xeomin also varies depending on the area being treated. 5. How long does Dysport and Xeomin last?

Xeomin can last 3-5 months, while Dysport can last 4-5 months after each treatment.


6. What are the side effects of Botox and Dysport?

Side effects of Dysport and Xeomin can include:

-Difficulty swallowing

-Muscle weakness

-Nausea

-Vomiting
